Head inland to Axminster (home to the River Cottage HQ, canteen and deli) or the county town of Dorchester and browse the shops. The choices are endless!

Pydelspring and Greenwood are located in Morcombelake which has a tea room, art gallery and farm shop with cafe. The bustling market town of Bridport is within easy reach with its popular weekly markets on a Saturday and Wednesday. The very place where the TV drama Broadchurch is filmed, Bridport's fantastic markets are a great place for stocking up on local produce.

Joan's Cottage (which sleeps 4) is located in the coastal resort of Charmouth which has a charming sea front with beach huts, a cafe on the beach, organised fossil trips, paddle boarding, surfing.  Local bakery, gift shops, eateries etc are right on the doorstep.  A local market is held on Monday's during the summer months where you can browse a wide range of stalls.
