Greenwood Self Catering Holiday Cottage in Dorset

Greenwood holiday cottage is a luxury one bedroom cottage, which sleeps two, it is very spacious and it has been designed to offer our quests all the facilities and luxuries necessary to enjoy a relaxing stay on World Heritage Jurassic coastline.

We are centrally located to enable you to visit the many attractions that this beautiful coastline has to offer. Lyme Regis is under 6 miles away to the west and Weymouth is 22 miles to the east. Accommodation

Greenwood Cottage includes the following for your holiday:

 

  • A Complimentary Welcome Pack of Tea/Coffee/Sugar, Locally Made Biscuits, Artisan bread, preserves and milk in the fridge for your arrival.

  • A fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), dining and lounge area leading through to the patio doors to the garden.

  • Free High Speed Wi-Fi

  • 40" HD TV with Freesat and On Demand Services, Blu-ray/DVD player and a Hi-Fi system with Bluetooth connect-ability.

  • Very comfortable lounge area with a two seater sofa to relax on when you're staying in.

  • The first floor has a very spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage and views towards Golden Gap and the sea with an en-suite shower room. Hairdryer available in the bedroom.

  • Laundry Facilities - Washing Machine, Clothes Dryer, Ironing Board and Iron.

  • Gas Central Heating throughout.

  • Large Garden area for summer evening, we have added a new decking area with rattan garden furniture and table.

  • A private off road parking space.

  • Strictly non-smoking either inside or directly outside of the cottage.

Location
​Greenwood Holiday Cottage is located on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. The cottage is only 10 minutes walk from the coastal footpath and ideally located for the many attractions that this part of the county is renowned for.
 
There are many superb restaurants, pubs and tea rooms close by. There is also a Farm Shop within a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Please note that Lyme Barn is situated on the A35 therefore, some parts of the day, muffled traffic noise from tree-screened A35 can be sometimes heard from the garden.

Transport
There are frequently run coastal buses which can be caught very close to the cottage. More details and timetables are provided in the cottage.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer accommodation for children/infants/babies.  We do now accept 1 well behaved dog for a small fee.
